I purchased the book from the Amazon.com auction a couple of weeks ago. I liked it, but would not recommend it as a first book on playing craps (for example, there are no pictures showing the crap table layout). If you are someone who has read on the subject before, and/or done a little gambling, you will probably find it good food for thought. Larry is very honest about the problems with some of the systems in the book, and admits that a couple of them will have you sitting out a hot roll. If the table is cold, I can see how his theories might work. I found the section on comps to be invaluable, and plan to follow his advice on my next trip to Vegas. The coupons at the back, however, are not for meals or lodging, but are for subscriptions to the Crapshooter and dollars-off coupons for books. If it weren’t for the problems I have pointed out in this review, I would have given the book five stars – Larry is a very entertaining writer, and his style is very easy to read.

The best book on craps, ever!
Not only is this book well written, but it contains a great bonus coupon section at the end. It also explains a lot of comps – how to get them and how to use them properly.
If I placed this book on the pass line and immediately threw a 2 or 3 or 12…..it would be a good thing.
